Pastry- Chef De Partie

We're looking for someone to support our Pastry Sous Chef in creating and preparing our cabinet food and a la carte sweet menus.

We're looking for an experienced Pastry Chef De Partie to join our East London kitchen team, supporting our Pastry Sous, Agnes in creating our daily bakes.

Our chefs work hard to produce seasonal menus working with some of London's best suppliers (Natoora, Original Beans, Wild Farmed).

Our goal is to be 0% waste in our kitchens currently running at 2-3%. We achieve this through fermenting pickling and reusing our bi-waste (turning waste barista milk in to ricotta and making syrups using waste vegetable trim!)

This role is a full time role over 4-5 days a week, supporting Agnes in creating and preparing our daily cabinet menu and our a la carte bakes.

We love creating dishes by taking inspiration from all of our team and welcome new ideas.

ABOUT YOU

• 2-3 years experience, either in a bakery or pastry section of a restaurant
• Basic knowledge in cakes, doughs, cookies, tarts, ice cream
• Creative ambition for participating in creating new recipes/bakes
• Positive and personable.
• Passion for working sustainably.
• Good personal presentation and hygiene.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to maintain a clean section.
• Ability to run a section.
• Passionate and flexible, no day is like the other
