Established in 1991, ZIGZAG Footwear is an independent fashion retailer originating from Chichester, West Sussex.
Embodying a truly independent spirit, we work closely with our brands to deliver a hand-picked selection of heritage classics, on trend fashion pieces and high quality wearable essentials. In 2018, we launched zigzagfootwear.com to compliment our physical store and allow us to service a new audience. 2021, saw the expansion of the ZIGZAG family, with the opening of a second store in the vibrant seaside town of Margate, Kent.
The Role
You will be working as part of our team along side the Managers. We are looking for an outgoing, personable and confident sales person who can interact comfortably with customers and co-workers, whilst maintaining an eye for detail regarding the organisation and appearance of the store.
Responsibilities
- Commercial focus to drive sales
- Excellent communication skills – our ideal candidate will be friendly and personable
- Maintain a high level of visual merchandising across the store
- Support with customer requests and queries
- Assist with online orders and online returns/exchanges
- Ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are met

- Excellent organisation and analytical skills
- Ability to manage your time
- Great social and interpersonal skills
- Eye for detail
- A ‘Can do’ attitude at all times
Experience
- Previous experience working in a retail environment preferred
- Customer service
Additional Skills
- Understanding of social media platforms
- Interest in fashion styling
