Logistics Manager

We are looking for a new colleague in the Logistics department at our location in Peterlee.
Your tasks as Logistics Manager (m/f/d):
- Ensure customer requirements are met by accurate planning and coordination of supply chain and manufacturing activities
- Lead key stakeholder engagement internally (Plant, Divisional) and externally (customer, supplier), often at senior/exec level
- Provide strong leadership, direction and guidance to the site Logistics function, including their collective effectiveness, individual performance management and development
- Optimise inventory performance and supply chain related costs
- Engage with Divisional operations and supply chain functions to support the global development of supply chain systems and best practice
Your profile as Logistics Manager (m/f/d):
- Be able to demonstrate success in delivering Logistics and Supply Chain improvement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (including conflict management)
- Collaborative mind set, at ease with cross functional structures within a Global organisation
- Exceptional customer focus
- Strong leadership skills
