We are looking for a Transport Operations Manager to be based at our site in Findern on a permanent, full-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a high-calibre, CPC qualified transport management professional with experience running a medium sized distribution network to join our global company.

The Role

As a Transport Operations Manager, you will ensure the effective running of our transport operations at our Findern site, making best use of resources and collaboration.

Managing the day-to-day activities of Drivers, Shift Supervisors and Transport Operators, you will ensure all deliveries are covered and customer requirements are achieved in a timely manner.

You will also provide weekly cost and revenue reports, ensuring that site profits are achieved as well as making sure weekly charges and costs are reported.

Additionally, you will:

• Provide staff with full coaching and training
• Ensure all company procedures are adhered to
• Participate in H&S monitoring and reviews

About You

To be considered as a Transport Operations Manager, you will need:

• Transport management experience, running a medium sized distribution network
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft packages and email
• A CPC qualification
