Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Graphic Designer with a strong background in fashion and retail to join our creative agency. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for conceptualising and creating visually stunning designs for a diverse range of clients in the fashion and retail industry. Your creative flair, industry knowledge, and ability to deliver compelling design solutions will play a vital role in executing projects that elevate our clients' brands and captivate their target audiences.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the creative team and account managers to understand client briefs, project goals, and brand guidelines.
• Conceptualise and design impactful visual assets across various mediums, including print collateral, digital campaigns, social media content, websites, packaging, and promotional materials.
• Translate client requirements into compelling design solutions that effectively communicate their brand identity and resonate with their target audience.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends, emerging technologies, and industry developments within fashion and retail to bring fresh and innovative ideas to client projects.
• Develop and present design concepts to clients, articulating the rationale behind creative decisions and incorporating client feedback effectively.
• Work collaboratively with other designers, copywriters, and production teams to ensure seamless execution of design projects.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to project timelines and delivering high-quality designs within budget constraints.
• Conduct thorough research on client brands, competitors, and target audiences to inform the design process and create impactful visual storytelling.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions, providing creative input, and contributing to the development of marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication and exceptional customer service throughout the design process.
• Stay organised by managing and archiving design files, assets, and project documentation in a systematic manner.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3-5 years) as a Graphic Designer in a creative agency or similar environment, with a focus on fashion and retail clients.
• A diverse portfolio showcasing a range of design projects across various mediums, demonstrating creativity, originality, and a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), as well as knowledge of emerging design tools and technologies.
• Strong understanding of typography, composition, colour theory, and layout principles, with the ability to adapt design styles to suit different client aesthetics.
• In-depth knowledge of fashion and retail industry trends, consumer behaviour, and branding strategies.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with clients, account managers, and the creative team.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining a high level of creativity and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to finding innovative design solutions.
• Familiarity with print production processes and specifications, as well as digital design best practices and requirements.
• Motion graphics and video editing skills would be advantageous.
• Lover of dogs, our studio dog comes into the office every day.
