Chauffeurs/Drivers - Full and/or Part Time - £12.50/hr

Yarmouth Delivers ! is a premium shuttle, delivery and chauffeur service for various restaurants, shops and businesses in the West Wight. We deliver clients, team members, and products. We also offer a chauffeur service for special events in our iconic vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Shuttling some team members to/from work

• Transporting clients & customers to/from the various restaurants, shops and businesses in the West Wight area

• Making deliveries of products as required by the Managers of the businesses

• Running errands

• Chauffeuring for special events, such as weddings/birthdays/anniversaries, other special events at specific private venues, as well as events organised by some of the businesses

• Keeping the vehicle pristine and spotless - inside and out - refuelled, and in good working order

• Informing the Managers of repairs requiring specialist attention and getting those repairs done

Essential Requirements:

• Well-presented, clean, tidy

• Responsible and reliable

• Outstanding time-keeping - preferably always early

• Cheerful and outgoing disposition, with strong interpersonal and communication skills for constant customer interaction

• Good sense of direction and able to follow SatNav as needed on your own phone

• Organised in taking bookings from Managers with fine attention to detail, and a pleasant and helpful telephone manner when receiving bookings

• Flexible and able to think ahead to plan multi-stop journeys as required

• Customer focused with a “can do” attitude, and willing to “muck in” as required

• Can work both independently and as part of a team

Must be 25 years or older, with at least 3 years experience driving, and a Clean Full UK Driving License

Desirable (not required):

• Chauffeur, taxi or delivery driver experience a plus

• Knowledge of car maintenance/car hobby, in order to keep vehicles operating smoothly

• Familiar with and/or living in the West Wight

Other Details:

• In peak season, we will guarantee you £12.50/hr, broken down as (£10.50/hr plus a minimum guarantee of £2.00/hr of tips-and the tips could be higher still)

• Full Time (40hrs/week) or Part Time (8-25hrs/week)

• Mostly 5pm to close shifts. Weekends are Busiest

• We will provide 2 uniforms. You must keep them clean and tidy

• We provide the vehicle and we will cover fuel, parking, insurance, etc

• We will provide the dash cam/other cams, as required

• You use your own mobile phone (WhatsApp for calls and group chats with Managers; Google Maps for SatNav)
