Transport Supervisor (Nights)

If so, we are looking for an experienced Transport Supervisor to join us at our Gotham site working the night shift Monday-Friday on a full time, permanent basis.

Pay, benefits and more:

We are looking to offer a salary of up to £35,000 per annum. We also offer 25 days’ holiday (including bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

• 
  Day-to-day you will meet our customers’ requirements for the profitable, safe and efficient transport of goods in accordance with company quality procedures
• Execute the daily transport plan, by managing the drivers / resource efficiently cost effectively
• Maintain compliance and customer service, monitoring driver PDA compliance and other reporting requirements and driving continuous improvement
• Plan and optimise artic fleet and cover Planner absences

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• 
  Previous industry experience in a similar position
• A CPC would be desirable
• Knowledge of using planning Paragon planning software in a transport/logistics environment would be a huge advantage but not a necessity
• Excellent attention to detail with a sound geographical knowledge of the UK
• A working knowledge of driver hours regulations
