Would you like to be part of a world leading team that specialise in Energy & Emissions Management, process optimisation, GHG accounting and a range of other technical offerings?
The Xodus Emissions & Climate team are looking to hear from engineers and specialists with a process or chemical engineering background keen to take a seat within our team. Applicants should preferably be familiar with the oil & gas process and how energy users on site affect emissions.
We are looking for people who are keen to get involved in all or some of the following:
  • Development of Emissions Reduction Action and Methane Action plans
  • Emissions baselining and forecasting
  • Identification and quantification of process optimisation opportunities, and meaningful energy and emission reduction opportunities
  • Delivery of emissions testing / stack sampling projects in an offshore environment
  • Presentation of key services to clients
  • Delivery of energy management improvement workshops
  • Emissions Trading Scheme Management and/or Verification
  • Development of new products, services and software solutions
We are looking for the right candidate with a cross section of skills who can integrate across a team of specialists covering environmental, rotating equipment, mechanical and process engineering. Requirements:
  • Preferable experience covering process / chemical engineering, process control and process safety
  • Experience of operations support and brownfield modifications
  • Experience dealing with clients and providing input to commercial proposals
  • Experience working in an offshore or process plant environment
  • Experience dealing with and interrogating control systems and data historians
  • Broad understanding of emissions – what, why, where, etc.
  • Emissions sources – which process equipment are key emissions sources
  • Types of emissions – CO2, Methane, Refrigeration etc, combusted vs uncombusted
  • How the legislation ties in with the day-to-day operation and long-term plans
  • Scope 1, 2, 3 emissions breakdown
  • An understanding of energy transition drivers and technologies e.g., CCUS, power from shore, renewables etc.
  • Ability to speak to asset personnel at all levels from operations through to OIM and onshore support and the ability to think outside the box and not just take information at face value
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to take large amounts of information / data, extract the value from it and convey a concise message
  • Excellent verbal and written English
  • Experience producing technical reports and effective presentations
