As Social Media Manager you will be responsible for the content and workflow strategy of the social media team in order to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts and increase social media network (followers, likes etc.) across a range of social media platforms (which includes Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other developing social media channels relevant to communication strategy), all while maintaining our client’s company style and voice used on the appropriate platforms.

The successful applicant will be a highly motivated, positive, and professional individual who possesses excellent motivation and communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
Social Media and Management experience is essential.

It's a full-time role from our London Office off of Liverpool Street, from Monday to Friday 9-6pm.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Managing all Social Media planning, implementation, and activation across both paid and non-paid social activity.
  • Protecting and enhancing our client’s brand reputation via multiple Social Media platforms.
  • Overseeing the recruitment and development of team members to help meet departmental objectives.
  • Proposing, delivering, and analysing Social Media campaigns, initiatives, advertising, and promotions.
  • Analysing the impact of change and implementing clear change processes.
  • Ensuring high standards of customer service are maintained by the team during customer contact via Social Media channels.
  • Providing support, guidance, and direction as required to enable team members to achieve personal work objectives.
  • Regular reporting to Senior Management on the progress of all projects.
  • Creation of Social Challenges to keep the community engaged and interacting with content Experience launching community initiatives (eg building an online forum, launching an ambassador programme, creating an event series, writing blog material).
Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
  • Experience with Facebook ads and other social ad paid platform marketing mediums.
  • Research, and written web copy + use of best practice in SEO and optimisation techniques. Copy will include landing pages, blogs, resources, case studies and more.
  • Effective communication and motivation skills.
  • Informed decision-making with ability to set and work with short-term, medium-term, and long-term targets.
  • Excellent attention to detail and fluency of both written and verbal English.
  • Ability to assess and review team performance and implement change where necessary.
  • Comfortable with social media tools like Canva and Later and the ability to design quick simplistic post design.
  • Proven +4 years working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist.
  • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
  • Proven experience of managing social media campaigns and longer-term strategies.
  • Positive attitude, detail oriented with good multitasking and organisational skills.
  • Collaborate with external agency teams to produce high quality content for digital PR and marketing campaigns.
  • Optimise existing web content with a focus on driving traffic to the website from search results.
  • A degree or professional qualification in digital marketing-related discipline and/or journalism and other relevant fields.
