The growing aerospace, energy, IGT, foundry and petro-chemicals markets are WR’s key end user sectors.

Role

Exciting opportunities exist for both full-time Special Metals & Alloys sorters and operatives. The successful candidates must have a strong background in processing and/or sorting Special/Exotic Scrap/Revert Metals with a minimum of 3 years experience.

Responsibilities & Duties

The candidate will ultimately be responsible for the processing, sorting/grading & out-turning of all the incoming materials.

The candidate must have experience in the recognition, identification and reporting of special metal contamination within the materials that may include, foreign attachments/coatings/inserts/tips & repair welds.

Knowledge & use of XRF hand-held analysers is essential.

Position may require shift working.

The candidate will ultimately report to the production manager.

Strong written, organisational and IT skills are a must for this role.
