An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Security Officer to join the William Gilder Team. Servicing the logistical needs of a wide range of clients in the waste and agricultural industries, William Gilder Ltd has proudly provided specialist transportation services for over 25 years. Ideally located between Tewkesbury and Evesham, we are a well-established family run business.

We are looking for a self-motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our small team. You will be responsible for the security of three sites that make up William Gilder Group Ltd, and will be based at our Head Office at Teddington Hands, where our Truckstop offers:

• Secure parking for 150 vehicles
• Key Fuels bunkering site Diesel, Red Diesel, AdBlue
• SNAP parking site
• 24Hr CCTV and On-Site Security including patrols

The Role:
Reporting to the Security Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring the safety and security of people, premises and property
• Frequent security patrols and inspections, to include the Offices, Truck stop and Teddington Stores premises
• Maintaining clear and accurate records of vehicles entering the Truck Stop
• Taking payment for parking via SNAP/credit card
• Receiving ‘out of hours’ calls for all areas of the business, and directing enquiries to relevant departments in a timely manner
• Raising any potential security concerns promptly to management.

Candidate Requirements (Essential):

• Good communication skills (including phone and e-mail)
• Full UK driving licence
• At least two years proven experience in a similar role

Candidate Requirements (Desirable):

• Valid SIA Licence

Hours:

Working Monday to Friday 7pm-7am, 3 shifts per week. Must be flexible and willing/able to work weekends 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am Saturday and/or Sunday on a rota basis.
