The Person:

The Role Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the warehouse teams so they work in a safe manner and are continually improving standards.
Develop and Maintain operational strategies for the warehouse in line with company objectives; ensure stock accuracy and ensure full compliance with all processes
Deliver cost effective service and deliver all standards within agreed budgets. Deliver cycle counts and routine stock counts to agreed intervals, investigate complete root cause analysis where needed.
Take ownership for the development of standards, processes and procedures to deliver great service to internal and external customers, safely and in the most efficient manner.
Drive for continuous improvement and seek out stars within the teams, give them leadership and encouragement they deserve to enable them to shine.
Maintain a clean warehouse operating to the highest standards of food safety compliance
Own, or actively participate in, site wide activities that deliver improvements and do the best for

KPI’s: Stock accuracy, pick accuracy, productivity, customer service,

Knowledge Requirements:
Safety – a great understanding of how to keep people and product safe. IOSH preferred
Process – a clear ability to quickly grasp an understanding of process and develop understanding in others
Continuous Improvement – great understanding of how good warehouse practice works and able to put theory into practice; shift reviews, daily reviews, weekly reviews
Communication – ability to convey messages quickly and simply to the relevant audience.
People Development – knows how to develop a team, motivate individuals in a way that they feel ownership and accountability for delivery.
