This full-time post is available immediately on a fixed-term basis for six months within Facilities Operations.


Summary of the role/position

Based at the Streatham campus, the successful applicant will mostly work in a small team or independently, while part of a central core team of operatives engaged to fulfil the operational needs of the University. The team will deliver a robust and professional service to staff, students and visitors.


The operational working pattern for this role is 19:30-07:30 on a rolling 4 nights on and 4 nights off rota.


Flexibility and adaptability are key components of this role as operational requirements may change at short notice. These are physically demanding positions, and you will be covering a wide range of duties facilitating event set ups and support, lifting and carrying large pieces of equipment, as well as participating in ‘soft security’ duties across the wider Streatham campus and specifically in the Forum Complex


Due to the nature of the role, a driving licence is an essential requirement for the successful applicant.
