As part of UBS’s Human Resources (HR) Artificial Intelligence, Data, and Analytics team, you will contribute to UBS HR’s most ambitious and critical technology projects. You will play an important role to understand the data platform needs from other crews, work with architects and peers to design and deploy cutting edge data platform components in the cloud.

We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and help us to :

• develop and improve infrastructure services such as hosting, compute, storage, networking, security, and end-user tools and devices
• design Infrastructure as Code (IaC) aligned to business and IT requirements on Azure (preferably using Terraform or ARM/Azure CLI)
• provide infrastructure services that are easy to consume and efficient to operate, making effective use of cloud capabilities (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• apply a broad range of engineering practices, from analyzing requirements and developing new features to automated testing, deployment, and operations
• ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements
• build observability into our solutions giving our support teams the ability to monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues
• learn new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind
• guide implementation teams to successful delivery of cloud infrastructure
• make sure technical solutions are integrated into our heterogeneous and highly automated infrastructure on-prem and on cloud
• collaborate on problem analysis, proof-of-concepts, pilots, and quality and control
• partner with the various teams/functions to enable and drive deployment of the chosen solutions for the full life cycle
• work as part of an agile development team that spans global locations challenging the status quo, innovating, and building great software

You’ll be working in the CDIO HR team in UBS London office. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll play an important role in working with your whole team on timely delivery of CDIO HR projects. You may also be a scrum master.
