Travelnest is a leading technology company specialising in holiday rental management software. Our platform enables property owners to simplify managing their property while maximising their revenue. All while delivering exceptional guest experiences. We see this role as critical to our success in achieving our vision for the platform.

As a Principal Product Manager at Travelnest, you'd play a crucial role in shaping the future of our holiday rental management software. You will be responsible for driving the development and evolution of our product roadmap, working closely with cross-functional teams to define, prioritise, and deliver innovative solutions that exceed customer expectations.

Salary range: £80,000 - £100,000 plus benefits

Your responsibilities would include

  • Product Strategy: Developing and executing a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap aligned with the company's vision and goals. Continuously evaluating market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and drive innovation.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Taking a leadership role within the product management function, guiding and mentoring other product managers. Helping level up the entire team by sharing best practices, introducing new methodologies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborating closely with executive leadership, engineering, design, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing product enhancements. Effectively communicating product plans, status updates, and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels.
  • User-Centric Approach: Ensuring a deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, and workflows to drive user-centered product development. This will require conducting user research, gathering feedback, and analysing data to inform product decisions and iterate on existing features.
  • Agile Methodology: Championing agile product development practices within the company. Collaborating with teams to define user stories, prioritise product backlogs, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software releases.
  • Market and Competitive Analysis: Staying up-to-date with market trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices. Conducting competitive analysis and identify opportunities for differentiation and market expansion.

What we’d like to see from you

We don't see this as a checklist. You might have some but not all of the items below. If in doubt, we suggest applying and having a chat.

  • Over 5 years of demonstrable product management experience in a technology-driven company, preferably in the SaaS or travel industry.
  • A track record of successfully launching and managing innovative software products from conception to delivery.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and product development practices, such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Excellent leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • An analytical and data-driven approach to decision-making, leveraging qualitative and quantitative insights.
  • Experience with growth hacking techniques and driving user acquisition strategies.

The type of person we’re looking for

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to drive change and take ownership of product initiatives.
  • Passion for the travel industry and a customer-centric mindset. Ideally with familiarity of the vacation rental market.

At Travelnest, we believe in fostering a culture of diversity, inclusion, and continuous learning. We value entrepreneurial spirit, creativity, and the drive to challenge the status quo. If you are passionate about developing new practices and ways of working, and if you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, then we would love to hear from you.

Please submit your resume, along with a cover letter explaining why you are interested in this role and how your experience aligns with our requirements.
