About The Role

Are you an experienced, versatile writer? Are you equal parts creative and analytical? If so, the content team at TPXimpact needs you!

Sitting within our marketing department, the content team’s mission is open and clear communication about the work we do, what we think and who we are as an organisation.

In this role you’ll immerse yourself in new ideas every day by researching and crafting thought leadership articles, working with stakeholders around the business to help them express their ideas, telling the stories of our work, and collaborating with marketing colleagues to make our campaigns pop.

The ability to both engage and educate our audiences is a must — our sweet spot is clear, confident writing with creative flair.

Previous experience in technology and digital transformation is desirable, but not essential to this role. More important is your ability to quickly get to grips with complex subject matter, communicate ideas with clarity and help others do the same.

Responsibilities
  • Writing clear and engaging short, medium and long-form content including blog posts, thought leadership articles, case studies, interviews, newsletters, video narrative, and reports, flexing your tone and style where appropriate.
  • Coming up with content ideas and strategies across our key topic areas and sectors to communicate our work, values and expertise.
  • Working with business stakeholders to help them turn their ideas into well crafted pieces of content.
  • Be an advocate for clear communication across TPXimpact, embodying our brand, voice and style (we’re bold, we know what we’re talking about, we want to be remembered).
  • Applying SEO principles to content to maximise our reach whilst maintaining editorial integrity.
  • Collaborating with colleagues as needed to provide content expertise across all marketing activity, such as social media, campaign landing pages, emails and events.
  • Uploading content to CMS tools (Umbraco, Hubspot) ensuring consistency and accuracy.

About You

Experience

  • Proven published writing experience, and a body of work which showcases your skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to research unfamiliar and complex subject matter, and present this in a clear and creative way
  • Rigorous proofreading and editing skills, including the ability to take on more challenging structural edits
  • Strong journalistic interview skills
  • Ability to improve content based on feedback, and provide similar feedback to others helping colleagues to finesse their writing skills.
  • Previous experience working independently in a fast paced, remote/hybrid business environment, balancing different projects at the same time
  • Experience of using Content Management Systems (CMSs) to edit and publish content across varied digital platforms, ensuring consistency and accuracy
  • An understanding of SEO and how to apply its principles to written content
  • A good eye for visual design, for example when sourcing images for written content
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to develop good relationships with stakeholders, collaborate, and write with or on behalf of others
  • Ability to project manage content from initial idea creation to publication, working with relevant stakeholders including external contributors, agencies or writers where appropriate
  • Ability to work to deadlines and ensure work is completed to a high standard
