Assistant Merchandiser - MP Activewear

The Role:
Reporting to the Merchandiser/Senior Merchandiser you will support the merchandising function for the business in order to ensure that all relevant stakeholders have accurate data which can directly, proactively and consistently inform decisions relating to maximising profitability and contributing to overall business strategy and growth.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Accountable for the Supply Chain functions within the merchandising team for the delivery of availability, stock and fulfilment, within the guidelines of the division
• Focuses on delivering the key launch and availability metrics set and agreed with the business for each global site under Myprotein business and highlighting any issues and proposed actions
• PO Management – raising POs within deadlines and ensuring accuracy through the season
• Delivery Management – working with suppliers, logistics and warehouse to ensure timely deliveries to meet launch dates
• Manage weekly stock and intake to department targets whilst still maximising availability to agreed targets
• Take part in departmental Critical Path meetings, feeding back to Merchandiser with any issues
• Produce range information and launch dates to share with the clothing business and wider Myprotein division
• Present the department at range reviews to the Senior Management covering all Merchandising metrics
• Maintain a can-do attitude and positive approach, especially through challenging periods, with the support of the merchandising team

Requirements:

• Degree Qualified 2:1 or above in a related degree
• Numerate, analytical and able to work at fast pace
• Team player
• Able to influence others
• Ability to think laterally and look for ways to improve things
• Commercial awareness
• Highly analytical and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
