Dental Nurse - Out of hours Private Emergency Care

The247dentist are seeking Dental Nurses for our Wolverhampton location. The candidate must be self-assured, dedicated, cheerful, enjoy interacting with people, and pride themselves on delivering an outstanding patient experience.

The position involves assisting the dentist in providing excellent private emergency dental care on the weekday evening, weekends, and bank holidays.

Our Nurses form part of a rota on an on-call basis, often on-call for a full week at a time - Monday through to Sunday. For any full week (Mon-Sun) on-call a guaranteed payment will be paid.

A Nurse/s are needed for one or two weeks for on-call duty each month.

By joining our private emergency dental team, you will benefit from excellent rates of pay.

· 9am to 8pm £20 p/hr

· 8pm to 10pm £30 p/hr

· 10pm to 12am £50 p/hr

- 12am to 9am £70 p/hr

When on-call you a free to go about your leisurely activities but you must be able to attend the clinic within 45 minutes of being called to work.

We aim to see 15 to 25 patients per week, the majority of whom come on weekends. The expected hours of work are typically around 10 to 25 hours.

Applicants must have the following:

- Hold a recognised qualification in Dental Nursing

- be GDC registered

- have at least 1 years Dental Nursing experience

- have indemnity insurance

- fluent in English – speech and written

- Use of a car or other methods of travel

We provide a 24-hour clinic on the weekends and bank holidays and from 18:30 to 04:00 on weekdays. Please see on-call hours below:

· Monday 00:01 – 04:00 and 18:30 – 00:00

· Tuesday from 00:01 – 04:00 and 18:30 – 00:00

· Wednesday from 00:01 – 04:00 and 18:30 – 00:00

· Thursday from 00:01 – 04:00 and 18:30 – 00:00

· Friday from 00:01 – 04:00 and 18:30 – 00:00

· Saturday from 00:01 to 00:00

· Sunday from 00:01 to 00:00

Appointments after 10pm are rare due to an increased appointment fee.

When on call you a free to go about your leisurely activities but you must be able to attend the clinic within 1 hour of being called to work.

Monday - Friday evening on-call times can be flexible to work alongside your weekday work schedule.

Please note that the hours for any bank holidays on which you are on call will be from 00:01 to 00:00. All bank holiday Mondays, as well as Good Friday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day, are included in this.
