Purpose of role

This role is responsible for: ensuring the effective and continued management of the existing contract, the identification, development and submission of new tender bids, the day-to-day management of supervisors, including staff development, appraisals, recruitment, as well as ensuring the implementation and compliance with relevant policies, procedures and legislation. Management of existing contracts, the identification, development, and submission of new tender bids with support from the business.

Duties and Key Responsibilities

  • To manage and maintain expected standards of service delivery, compliance, and professionalism for the site and / or contract as required by the client and the company.
  • Manage and maintain effective commutation with and between staff, colleagues, senior management, clients, and members of the public.
  • When initiating a new contract or site ensure risk assessments and relevant documentation has been completed and that relevant policies, procedures, legislation as well as company / client instructions have been followed and applied.
  • Where applicable devise, implement and manage quality assurance processes appropriate to each site and / or contact.
  • Manage staffing levels and attendance ensuring contractual obligations are met.
  • Ensure all staff are adequately trained, supervised and that welfare, discipline and grievance issues are managed and dealt with appropriately in accordance with company policy and procedure.
  • To manage, maintain and develop relationships with clients.
  • To identify and develop new commercial relationships and contract opportunities with new clients.
  • To work in partnership with HR in relation to identifying and resolving recruitment issues, including the participation of interviewing and selection processes.
  • To manage and produce monthly or periodic reports as well as host KPI/ SLA meetings with relevant parties as required.
  • To manage and ensure relevant databases and scheduling systems are accurate, up to date and any related issues such as pay queries are resolved professionally and promptly.
  • Ensure relevant electronic systems such as Share Point, shared drive areas, cloud based systems, etc are up to date, accurate and that the data is being accessed, viewed / shared with relevant parties in accordance with data protection legislation.
  • To produce social media posts, updates and case studies as requested to support marketing and other business functions.
  • Where applicable to manage allocated budget and understand how to create or use profit and loss reports.
  • To ensure the shared area is up to date in line with SOP’s
  • To be aware of and work towards the SES Group mission, vision and values
  • To be familiar with and comply with all SES Group policies, procedures and guidelines
  • To undertake any other reasonable duty, which is appropriate to your role, when requested by senior management.

Qualifications

  • SIA Door Supervisor licence holder (required)
  • Leadership and Management qualification (desirable)
  • Minimum IOSH Working Safely (training available)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £37,500.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
