Job description
The Landmark Hotel & Leisure club in Dundee is set within stunning grounds ten minutes from the city centre. The hotel features an indoor swimming pool, a gym and a conservatory-style restaurant which offers fine cuisine made from local, seasonal produce. The hotel boasts an impressive Scottish mansion house with elegant and spacious rooms and has a total of 95 rooms.
What will I be doing?
As a Breakfast Assistant for the Landmark Hotel, we are looking for a hands on individual who is responsible for the following tasks;
- Whenever possible to anticipate guest’s needs, to be aware of all written and spoken requests, to carry out these requests in a courteous and helpful manner.
- To be fully conversant with the facilities, services and special promotions offered by the hotel and to pass this information on to the guest whenever the possibility arises in order to maximise hotel sales
- To display a ‘Can-Do’ Attitude at all times.
- Ensure cleaning checklists are completed
- Prepare and serve food items to company and hygiene standards
- Prepare and serve drinks to company standards and following Scottish Licencing Law
- To clear and set tables
- To complete all statutory training within set timelines
- Responsible for maintaining a comfortable atmosphere in the public areas by controlling and monitoring heating, lighting, music/tv
- To ensure that all public areas are cleaned and kept tidy at all times
- To carry out any other ad hoc duties as directed by all management

- Ability to provide and demonstrate exceptional guest service
- Positive can-do attitude
- Flexible with working shifts and availability to work weekends/evenings
- A good ability to manage business/workflow priorities
- Experience working across all departments of Reception, F&B, Public Area cleaning is desirable
