Mixologist

The Chelsea Harbour Hotel is seeking an experienced Mixologist. The ideal candidate is a person with a clear passion for drink service. One who will engage with people easily and be able to use their intuition and creativity to deliver a wonderful experience for everyone. The ability to multitask and prioritise is important, as well as the ability to work well under pressure with a broad smile. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, produce quality work and be flexible to work shifts.

As a mixologist, you will be preparing high quality cocktails, recommending and upselling drinks by describing cocktails and mixing methods and work with the team members to ensure efficient service. Experience in cocktail making within a similar environment is essential, together with having a positive attitude. In return, we will give you the tools to ensure you are successful in your role.

As a mixologist, your key responsibilities include:

• To assist and support the Bar Manager/Supervisor in creating an environment, which promotes staff morale, encouraging the Team to show pride in the Bar and to use their skills and attitude to provide highest standards of service thus ensuring maximum efficiency.
• To consistently strive for innovation and creativity in product and service, that will increase volume and maximise sales and profitability and provide consistent quality service in the Bar.
• To deal effectively and in the spirit of Chelsea Harbour Hotel with any complaint and, if it cannot be dealt with, to report the complaint.
• To be fully aware of the daily special, a la carte, aperitif and other items that can be sold in the bar and demonstrate up-to-date job knowledge of new beverages and cocktails, while sharing this knowledge with the rest of the Team.
• To positively contribute to the sales and promotions within the Bar and to promote sales awareness to the team in order to maximise sales opportunities.

All of the hotel’s luxury suites are spacious and elegantly furnished, with four spectacular penthouse suites which offer some of the best panoramic views across London from their spacious roof terraces.
