At CIM, we are looking for a Data Analyst to join our Digital Team. This is a great opportunity for you to join a growing and friendly team, to develop with on-going training (we whole-heartedly endorse training) and to really make an impact with our internal customers at CIM.


This is a Hybrid role,
2 days per week office based and 3 days per week remote.


About the role:

You will be responsible for first line support of your customers and line of business applications (Microsoft Dynamics CRM, databases and associated systems). You will also be responsible for the maintenance of our internal ticketing system to make sure customers get the experience they are promised. As a keen supporter of your customers, you’ll be developing and maintaining our Power BI solution to capture and monitor business KPIs.


In a typical day, you might:

  • Provide customer support – Identify, log, and resolve incidents assigned to the team. Actively monitor tickets, liaise with end users and technical teams to ensure tickets are correctly scoped, logged, assigned, prioritised (based on the business needs) and resolved within the SLA
  • Ensure customers get the data and information they’ve requested when its promised.
  • Ensure your customers can get what they need from our Dynamics 365 systems
  • Assist the team with testing of improving our systems prior to any go-live.
  • Supporting, monitoring, and troubleshooting both our production and non-production environments
  • Perform regular cleaning, monitoring, and auditing of our data
  • In conjunction with the business teams, develop and maintain our data visualisation capabilities (dashboards, metric tracking etc.), with the use of Microsoft tools such as Power BI.
  • Work across the business to assist in deploying, managing, upgrading, and troubleshooting data specific applications on Dynamics 365 and Power BI.
  • Support the business to deliver projects ensuring the best is achieved for your customers
  • Identify opportunities with your team to continually improve existing services or recommend better alternatives
  • Assist in deploying, managing, upgrading, and troubleshooting software, hardware, and data specific applications on Dynamics 365
  • Provide training and encourage the adoption and use of our collaborative business applications and services to facilitate basic self-service.
  • Prioritise and manage your workload effectivity to ensure success in everything you do.
  • Manage the documentation and administration of information systems, ensuring that all actions comply with our Policy and Procedures
  • Creation of SOPs, training documentation and conducting formal training classes to make sure the right thing is always done


For this role, you’ll need:

  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root cause and apply solutions to resolve
  • Strong reporting and analysis skills
  • Knowledge of applicable laws including GDPR and its impact on data and how it’s incorporated into business management
  • Presentation and analysis of data and the ability to summarise and draw out implications and patterns from the data
  • The ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff
  • You will have developed training documentation and provided user training
  • You will be competent at effectively prioritising your workload and delivering tasks on time


Technical Skills:

  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM/365
  • Microsoft Power BI.
  • Excel, Microsoft Office, SharePoint
