Sales Executive / Account Manager
Contract type: Full time permanent
Hours: Full time Monday to Friday
Location: Remote (occasional travel to Abingdon Head Office and operational sites across the UK)
Pay: Up to £30k p/a plus £10k OTE
ABOUT US:
As part of Active Learning Group, The Bushcraft Company and Active Learning Centres deliver outdoor adventures for schools across the UK. With activities ranging from learning bushcraft skills and fire lighting, to high ropes, coasteering and mountaineering, we believe in education beyond the classroom walls for school groups of all ages. We are now looking for individuals to join our growing team to support new business sales, and help achieve returner targets.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
You will be responsible for selling into the education sector, mostly to schools, to generate new business and will have the following responsibilities and duties:
- Attending new business meetings – these virtual meetings involve evaluating the customer needs, introducing the product, explaining the benefits to the customer, discussing costs/pricing, finalising trip details
- Managing your own pipeline and the sales process – follow up emails/ phone calls/ meetings, finalising trip details, confirming booking and closing the sale
- Using our CRM system (Salesforce) to record contact with schools and teachers
- Supporting the school in promoting and launching the trip to students and parents
- Support the marketing and lead generation team to create new business leads – this involves making initial contact with schools and organising meetings
ABOUT YOU:
We're looking for someone who is:
- (ideally) experienced in a Sales role
- Passionate with a positive attitude
- Self-motivated and able to work off their own initiative
- Driven to exceed targets
You'll need to be able to travel to the office and our operational sites when required so a driving licence is preferable as public transport links are not strong.
WE'RE OFFERING:
- Up to £30,000 base salary with additional OTE of circa £10,000
- Uncapped commission
- 25 days holiday plus birthday off
