Admissions & Ticketing Supervisor

The Bear Grylls Adventure, National Exhibition Centre, Halles, Marston Green
Birmingham, B40 1PA
United Kingdom

Fancy escaping the ordinary at The Bear Grylls Adventure? We’re looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Admissions and Ticketing Supervisor to lead our front of house area and photography, delivering WOW impressions to our guests.

Dare to step outside your comfort zone and apply today for the adventure of a lifetime!

What we are looking for

  • Previous supervisory experience in a customer service function
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
  • You’ll be guest obsessed and operationally savvy
  • Full of initiative, someone that can think on their feet, problem solve and be decisive
  • Be someone that can take the lead when the pressure's on
  • You'll also be bursting with ideas to make our guest experience even better

You’ll manage and take the lead of our front-of-house admissions and photography department. You and your team will be the first impression our guests receive when they arrive, so you’ll inspire a culture of amazing customer service, big smiles, and a friendly greeting from your team, as well as embedding an effective sales culture.

Our attraction gets busy, so you’ll be managing a high volume of guests looking for adventure, ensuring a slick operation. With a wide range of ticket types, annual passes, promotions, and other products, you’ll play a key role in driving revenue for the business, developing product knowledge and sales skills within your team.

This is a full-time permanent role, working any 5 days from 7, including working a regular fair share of weekends and bank holidays as required.

What’s in it for you

Alongside being able to be creative, innovative, and business savvy, you’ll also receive:

  • Salary of £24,000 per annum
  • 25% discount in our retail shops and restaurants and 40% off LEGO online
  • Merlin Magic Pass - giving you free tickets to all our attractions worldwide for you, your family, and friends every year
  • 02 discount
  • Employee pricing up to 55% off cinema tickets

Everyone Matters at Merlin.
At Merlin we welcome the world to our magical attractions and resorts every day and we want to reflect that same multicultural mix inside our business too. We strive to create an inclusive and diverse workplace where people can be themselves, have the same opportunities and thrive together. Because at Merlin, everyone matters! Together, we work to create a workplace where everyone feels valued, no matter their age, race, gender, disability or sexual orientation. Although we understand that we'll always be learning and growing, we aim to be the most inclusive and flexible employer in our industry.

If you have any questions or if you require any assistance, because of a disability or medical condition, please contact us by email at midway.recruitment@merlinentertainments.biz and one of the team will contact you as soon as possible.
