History Tutor

We are a busy, dynamic and leading 1-to-1 online private tutoring agency and have an abundance of new students, plenty of work for the right candidate, ready to be matched on a daily basis.

We are hiring exceptional 1-to-1 History tutors to join our expanding team and help our students.

Bonus: Experience in marking A Level/GCSE History past exam papers as well as grading.

We use an interactive whiteboard and video conferencing to conduct our lessons and give our tutors the freedom to plan the lessons according to their preferred structure and we offer support and guidance to help you along the way.

We are looking for tutors who have high standards and can help students achieve desired results. We have a mixture of primary school and secondary schools as well as adult learners.

Example qualities of the types of tutors we are looking for:

- Must be able to commit for at least 1 full academic year.

- Tutoring experience is a huge bonus but not mandatory as training may be provided for candidates with excellent potential and coachability

- Self-starter, creative in conducting interesting lessons according to the needs of students

- Excellent and responsive communicator

- Operates with honesty, integrity

- Adaptable, caring, kind, patient

- Go above and beyond if necessary

Job description:

- To tutor online / work from home and give specific/regular actionable tasks to our students to do outside of lesson time.

- To have a clear set of goals for our students and 'reverse engineer' in order to achieve them.

- To write weekly mini-reports and conduct regular assessments to test our students' progress.
