Food and Beverage Assistant

The George Hotel is looking for F&B Assistants to join the Bar and Restaurant team. The newly refurbished Hotel is looking absolutely stunning, and as the latest place to be seen we are looking for additional team to deliver outstanding service to our guests.

You will work across all F&B areas of the Hotel; The Tea Room, Restaurant, Bars, Lounge and beautiful Mediterranean Courtyard. No 2 days are the same!

The ideal F&B Assistants will;

. Be polite, friendly and welcoming to guests

· Be passionate about hospitality

· Be personable and engaging

· Deliver great service- taking guests orders in a timely manner, taking payment and excelling in efficient delivery of food and drinks

· Have an interest in food and beverage with a passion to develop knowledge further

· Work well in a team and get on well with other departments

· Take pride in their work

We would prefer that you have some experience in the hospitality sector doing a similar role, waitressing and/or bar work, but this is not essential for the right candidate. Enthusiasm and interest are key attributes.

Salary: Up to £9.60 per hour

• Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Colchester, CO1 1TD: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
