About you

You’ll be a great communicator and be able to think critically and develop solutions collaboratively. You will have a strong sense of ownership and take pride in your work.

Duties and responsibilities

• Assist in analysing software requirements for validity and feasibility
• Collaborate closely with other team members and departments
• Assist in planning & execution of all levels of testing (System, Integration, Regression, and Performance & Load)
• Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
• Provide timely solutions in team meetings
• Apply quality engineering principles throughout the Software Development lifecycle
• Supports test lead in the identification of problem areas, suggesting, reviewing and implementing corrective actions
• Assist in documenting test results and defects

Knowledge and experience

• Experience in some or all of the following: manual testing, coding, exploratory testing, manual API Testing, Front and back end testing, Azure, Devops, Selenium Web driver, C#, SQL, Visual Studio IDE, source control tools, Postman, Git, HTML, CSS, DOM, DevOps, Agile, Scrum and Kanban
• Experience in using apps, games, websites, gadgets, and other systems
• Ability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Understanding of both defective and good software
• Experience in writing test cases and executing test runs

Salary: £24,000/yr - £26,000/yr
