Job description
Due to the expansion of our services, we are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, motivated individual to join our dedicated installation team. Working to tight deadlines, the successful candidate must be highly motivated possessing excellent communication and organisational skills and have the ability to prioritise tasks to see the job through from its start to completion. An enthusiastic approach and willing to learn is paramount.
Senior Install Engineer
The ideal candidate will have Savant or Control4 Level2 Programming Certification, with at least 12 months programming experience and good working knowledge of residential AV including Home Cinema, Home Automation, Multi Room AV, Networking, and Access Control.
Responsibilities:
· Representing Smart Synergy as a key member of the team in a presentable professional manner at the showroom, on site and client facing.
· Communicating with clients, Architects, Interior Designers, Developers and Project Managers.
· Designing, installing and programming automation systems - primarily Control4 and Savant.
· Rack building and system commissioning.
· Fault finding.
· Carry out installations within agreed time scales, to required specification and to budget.
· Client Handovers / Demonstrations
· Provide technical support and remote assistance.
· Wired and wireless network installations.
· Attend project meetings when required.
· Work from and prepare drawings, cable schedules, terminating sheets and work from site plans.
· Follow Project Managers instructions and contribute to engineering solutions on site.
(Although most of our work is carried out across the North of England, you will be required to travel across the UK).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year (depending on experience)
