Do you have Senior 3D Artist experience, and are you seeking a new remote role? Our client, a multi-award-winning game development studio that specialises in immersive VR games, is looking for an experienced 3D artist to join on an initial 12-month contract and lead a new project. The remote role comes with a favourable day rate of £250 and the chance to begin working in early March 2023.

As a Lead 3D Artist, you will create, implement and compose diverse 3D art across areas such as environments, weapons, vehicles etc to the highest standard. You will work closely with the Art Director to ensure visual standards, technical requirements and best practices are maintained.

In your first few weeks in this 3D artist role, you can expect to:

• Create, implement and compose diverse 3D art across areas such as environments, weapons, vehicles etc to the highest standard
• Mentor and guide a team of junior 3D Artists and provide regular feedback

The right person for this role will have experience leading a team of artists on a small project and will be confident enough to lead the project with a certain degree of autonomy. You will likely have 5+ years of games studio experience and be able to showcase a portfolio of projects with a similar art style to our own. You'll also have:

• High proficiency in industry standard software such as 3DS Max/Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter/Designer etc - and the ability to quickly learn new tools as appropriate
• Proven ability to work across different visual styles
• Great attention to detail and aesthetics
