Production Operators – Merchanting Operations
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Merchanting Operations arm of the business for two Production Operators to join the team at our Head Office in Berwick-upon-Tweed. These are full-time, permanent roles working an average 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Key Tasks:
- Prepare for and perform manufacturing operations, activities and tasks as assigned.
- Follow all relevant company standards, procedures and safe working practices.
- Perform regular equipment maintenance.
- Repair and clean the equipment and production area.
- Monitor and control the process operation.
- Perform inspection and testing operation/task/activity.
- Manage, check and control materials in your area of responsibility.
- Effective handover of operations
- Operate ancillary equipment/transport material including forklift trucks and industrial vehicles.
- Maintain a clean as you go policy in all areas to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the business.
