What you will do
In this role, you will work as part of a 3-person crew, supported by our electricians, to complete solar installations safely, efficiently, and up to quality standards. As an Experienced Installer, you will be responsible for the roof portion of the installation.
Key Duties
- Accurately read plan sets
- Install solar systems on all roof types
- Responsible for roof layout and roof penetrations
- Install level racking and grounding for racking
- Bend conduit on the roof
- Responsible for basic electrical knowledge on the roof (running homeruns/jumper wires for multiple arrays)
- Install tilt kits and modules
- Represent Simply Solar in a positive and professional manner
About You
You’re a self-starter and a quick learner with strong installation skills. You have some electrical knowledge. You’re eager to develop and improve your skills. You care about safety and providing a professional experience as much as we do.
Qualifications
- 1.5 years of solar installation or Roofing experience required
- Reliable transportation
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Experience with ground mounts or batteries preferred
- Experience leading and training a crew is a plus
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check
