Paralegal / Office Assistant (Office based)

A unique and rewarding opportunity for a Paralegal / Office Assistant to join our law firm based in Greenford, West London on a full time basis.

You’ll be working with a small but ambitious and friendly team that has already doubled in size over the last two years! We are now implementing the next phase of our growth plan and branching out to deliver services in areas beyond our core sectors of personal injury, housing disrepair and immigration.

The role

The successful candidate will have experience working on every stage of a personal injury case and be able to manage their own case load. You will also get the opportunity to work in other areas of law, including housing disrepair and immigration.

Main duties include:

• Drafting protocol letters, court documents and other documents such as witness statements and schedules of loss;
• Researching case law;
• Liaising with defendant insurers and solicitors;
• Liaising with counsel and experts;
• Reviewing medical records and drafting chronologies;
• Speaking with clients and drafting letters of advice;
• Attending hearings, conferences;
• Taking initial enquiries from new clients; and
• Attending fee earner meetings to discuss new enquiries and caseloads.

The successful candidate will:

• Have a University degree (minimum of 2:1)
• Have an experience of assisting on personal injury claims
• Possess a passion for law and assisting vulnerable clients
• Be self-motivated and proactive
• Be an excellent communicator
• Be a great team player

Salary: £20,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
