OVERVIEW:
An exciting opportunity has arisen due to continued growth within our organisation. We are now looking to recruit a SQL Solutions Architect. This role will be leading a team of SQL/C# Developers. Working as a key member of the SME's in a high-performance development team. You will be a self-starter, responsible, focused and capable of working at pace and under your own initiative. Capable of managing a small team, providing leadership, leading projects and overcome issues with a resourceful solution-centric approach. You will be an involved knowledge holder in the business processes and be SQL/C# literate to lead from the front as required.
- Design, implementation and maintenance of SQL databases and C# dev solutions.
- Develop and support eCommerce integrations in pursuit of progress/results.
- Support and maintenance of existing systems/applications/interfaces.
- To define, plan and manage releases of application updates.
- To lead/manage a team through collaborative and consultative management.
Essential ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS (REQUIREMENTS):
- Experience in development of SQL, T-SQL code and .NET
- Experience working with cloud and Azure environments.
- Good MS SQL database design skills including normalisation and constraints
- Experience with T-SQL (Transact SQL) stored procedures, triggers and database constraints (MS SQL Server 2017 Enterprise)
- Experience using SQL server management studio
- Design, development and support experience in a highly transactional environment.
- Working with 3rd party providers, Integration documentation and API's.
- Creation of appropriate documentation / records SQL developments solutions, such that others can understand and maintain code/solutions effectively.
- Able to lead, motivate and manage a team delegating work and hitting deadlines.
ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS (Desirable):
- Experience with high volume B2B and B2C FMCG environments.
- Experience of coding with object orientated languages (C# preferable).
- Experience using Visual Studio & Postman
- Proven Knowledge of the Microsoft stack – SSIS & SSRS
- Commercial experience developing within the BI Stack
- Database design and optimisation experience
