Job purpose

The purpose of this role is to assess, quality check and process data provided by Stakeholders in the Business to ensure accurate and meaningful information is published on the Company’s online retail site. The focus of this role will be to determine if information submitted to the section is in the correct format, meets the highest standards for publication online, and is processed in accordance with agreed timescales.

Duties and responsibilities

List the primary job duties and responsibilities

· To create, maintain and update all static records in the ERP / SAP system (Navision), including, but not limited to Product, Brand, Supplier, Buying and Selling prices and Promotions.

· To work closely with the Product Content team to ensure products are created within the ERP system within agreed timescales to allow for creation of rich content for online publication.

· To develop and maintain excellent working relationships with internal Commercial and Merchandising teams to ensure all products are set up with correct criteria for management of the buy and sell processes.

· To work with the Finance and Brand Managers on setting up all new suppliers and keeping their data correct, including both inventory and non-inventory.

· Activate and deactivate ERP User accesses using standard user profiles according to formal and approved process.

· To work to strict Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) on turnaround of system updates to ensure data flow through the business is seamless.

· Ensure quality checks are done on all data uploaded into the ERP System and constantly look to ensure existing records are maintained.

· Using a Customer Service focused system (Zendesk), action incoming service requests, raise outgoing service requests and capture error rates for reporting purposes.

· Always meet quality standards for all assigned deliverables and make recommendations to Management for improvements in reports, tools, processes and assigned tasks.

· Contribute to team meetings and promote new ideas/concepts to improve efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround.

· Ad hoc tasks and projects as determined by the CEO, CFO or Head of Business Services

Skills / Qualifications

State the minimum qualifications required to successfully perform the job.

  • Excellent data management skills including attention to detail, accuracy, and speed.
  • Must be computer literate including good Excel skills (preferably Intermediate/Advanced).
  • Willingness to develop system skills to become an ERP super user.
  • Ability to concentrate and retain focus in a busy and lively office environment
  • Solid problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written English and verbal communication skills as well as a strong work ethic.
  • Must be well organised, accurate, be able to work under pressure and can meet tight deadlines.
  • Must have the ability work as part of a team and to use own initiative.
