The Role - Graduate Executive


This position sits within the UK RIC team, focusing on delivering high quality insights and supporting senior members of the Business team across a range of clients.


Savanta’s Business Team advises and supports a variety of clients in technology & telecommunications, travel & transportation, regulated industries (e.g. utilities, financial services), manufacturing, and the public sector on business issues, enabling them to make strategic decisions make on robust insights and analysis. The team conducts both ad-hoc and tracking research, and almost all members are methodology agnostic. Their research audiences include business decision makers, stakeholders, the general public and niche audiences (e.g. people in vulnerable situations).


We are looking for people who have a positive attitude, are eager to work across a wide range of methodologies, including tracking and ad-hoc projects and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment


As a Graduate Executive at Savanta, you’ll receive first-class mentorship and training on a breadth of research methodologies, techniques and systems, whilst getting hands-on experience and learning on the job. After an induction process in which you’ll learn all you need to know about the work we do and how we do it, you’ll get to support our project teams’ day to day activity including:


  • Setting up and assisting in the delivery projects
  • Checking, analysing and interpreting data
  • Supporting with fieldwork
  • Carrying out desk research on a variety of industry sectors and markets and issues
  • Contributing to the preparation of consultancy-led outputs for clients
  • Presenting, both internally and externally
  • Supporting different business areas to build on your research consultancy skills.

You’ll become an active part of client teams responsible for ensuring the smooth running of projects from start to finish. These are hands-on roles designed to give you the practical experience to build your confidence and enable you to produce high quality work that informs and inspires our clients while developing your career at pace.

About You

Our Executive roles are ideally suited to Graduates with some previous work experience who have a genuine interest in the Market Research sector, and the ability to learn in a fast-paced agency environment.


As well as the enthusiasm to handle practical work and the confidence to ask questions or make suggestions on improvements, applicants should possess:


  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Education to Degree level or equivalent
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • Strong numeracy skills (minimum grade B at GCSE or equivalent)
  • Proficiency in IT and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work well in teams and with a broad range of people
  • Ability to prioritise and effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously
