Security Supervisor (Flexible)

To apply for this role you must have a valid SIA Door Supervisor license with a minimum 1 year security experience as essential.

Communication ability and intuitive security capability will help in the application for this role. You will communicate closely with operators in our control room to respond at short notice to sites that need cover and assistance, taking instruction from the control room and managers, understanding assignments instructions and writing clear reports.

There will be plenty of opportunities for additional hours for anyone that may need extra hours occasionally.

The role:

· Reports to Operations Manager

· HQ is based in Liverpool, Sites cover Merseyside regions

· Ensure the effective day to day management of a large team of security officers by working collaboratively with our clients

· Ensure all duties are rostered with correctly trained staff in accordance with contractual requirements

· Training new staff on site

· Maintain a harmonious relationship with the customer, ensuring that all needs are met and a high standard of security is provided at all times

· Monitoring of relevant Key Performance in accordance with the contract

· Support all security operations in compliance with all Statutory, Company, Legal and Contractual requirements.

· Ensure assignment instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and any other relevant Security Manuals are updated and maintained in response to incidents.

· To be available on call, in case of emergency.

· Working 48 hours per week

The person:

· Holder of an SIA licence and preferably CCTV License

· Excellent customer service skills and leadership skills

· Proven experience of handling and responding to emergencies

· Have at least 2 years’ experience as a site supervisor

· Have excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills

· Polite and courteous when dealing with staff and clients

· Ability to successfully building relationships

· Awareness of financial and corporate responsibilities

· Some understanding of Health & Safety processes and procedures

Samson Security Ltd is a recognised SSAIB organisation and holds SIA approved contractor status for the provision of Security Guarding, Key Holding and CCTV services.

Employment in this post is dependent upon obtaining security clearance; this requires a current passport and 5 years’ residency within the UK. A full and comprehensive 5 year work/education history will also be required.
