We are looking for a competent Front of House Security Officer to undertake the surveillance of our premises and the protection of our staff and visitors at our site in Chiswick.
This is a customer facing role where you will be responsible for protecting both the staff working on the premises and also the customers entering the buildings. With a keen eye and a brilliant way with people, you will be a friendly face who enjoys helping the public. In return you can look forward to an interesting role where no two days are the same with exciting career opportunities. You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behaviour and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behaviours.
Security experience in a front of house role is essential.
Shifts will be 15:00-23:00 Mon-Sat (48 hrs/wk)
The goal is to help the company in maintaining excellent working conditions by keeping our facilities safe and problem-free.
Pay Rate: £12.50p/h
Contracted Hours: 48 pw
Employee Status: Permanent / Full time

Responsibilities
- Provide front of house presence to visitors and staff
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a presence
- Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
- Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
- Secure all exits, doors and windows after the end of operations
- Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts
- Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
- Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
- Provide assistance to people in need
- Apprehend and detain perpetrators according to legal protocol before the arrival of authorities
- Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences
- Proven experience as a security officer or guard in a front of house role
- Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
- Familiarity with report writing
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- Tech-savvy with experience in surveillance systems
- Trained in First Aid
- Registered as a security officer
