SALES STAFF (TRAINEE & EXPERIENCED) - FULL TIME
Due to increased demand and business growth, Saltmarine Cars, on the main M1 motorway near Dungannon have an exciting opportunity for Sales Staff to join our team; selling new and approved used cars and associated automotive products.
We're looking for someone who is helpful, understands our customer’s requirements, presents our products in the best way and makes the experience of buying a car from Saltmarine a special one.
COMPETIVE BASIC SALARY + COMMISSION + COMPANY CAR (DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE)
We have positions available for both trainee and experienced sales executives. The successful applicants will have retail sales experience, ideally in the automotive industry and will be a highly motivated self-starter, with excellent communication and organisation skills and the desire to succeed.
ABOUT US:
Saltmarine Cars is one of Northern Ireland's largest independent family owned car dealerships. With over 50 years in business, we are franchise dealers for Ford, Hyundai and Mazda all at one convenient location just off the M1 Motorway at junction 14. We also have a great selection of approved used cars at our Used Car Centre, and provide Aftersales, service and parts for Ford, Hyundai, Mazda and Honda.
CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE:
- Good interpersonal skills, able to listen to customers and communicate effectively on telephone, email and face to face
- Highly motivated self-starter, able to explore opportunities
- Target driven and able to achieve targets and work well under pressure
- Good negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task various duties in a professional and timely manner
- Computer & IT skills with knowledge and use of Microsoft Office programmes
- Full, valid driving licence required

- Inspire and excite customers with in-depth product knowledge, information and insight
- Offer exceptional customer service through informative communication
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicate logically and in a friendly manner
- Manages his/her time appropriately, taking into account costs and time
- Prioritises information and works efficiently – even under pressure
- Actively seeks product and brand information in order to offer the most up to date information to colleagues and customers
- Keeps up to date with Industry and market changes
- Creates an excellent customer experience by identifying and anticipating their needs
- Assures that customer issues are resolved quickly and effectively
