Who will you be working for?
This is a unique opportunity to join a leading timber frame manufacturing and erection company. Based in Margate, the business is well established and has a large diverse customer base throughout the United Kingdom.
What will you be doing?
You will be part of a team manufacturing roof trusses, under the guidance of the factory manager. General duties including but not limited to.
- Keeping working areas clean and tidy
- Picking materials
- Sorting and packing materials
- Following H&S procedures
- Maintain good quality control
- Using tools (skill saw, nail gun, hammer)
- Using machinery (Truss Press)
About you?
- Previous experience in similar sector ideal
- Ability to work well with others and independently
- Good time keeping and dependability
- Able to work overtime when required
- Good verbal communication skills
- Able to read basic manufacturing drawings
Working hours
07.00 - 16.00 (Monday-Thursday)
07:00 – 12:00 (Friday)
Overtime available
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £6.83-£11.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
