Home Telecom Broadband Technician - Flexible Working – Casual Contract
Hi! We are Roamler Tech, a successful, crowd-sourced based technology services provider currently undergoing a number of exciting expansion projects within the UK. One of our areas of expansion is in the field of Electric Vehicles (EV), where we are rolling out an exciting new project assisting homeowners with home installations of EV Chargepoints.
As such, we are now seeking people to become part of our crowd of Home Surveyors, involving visiting residential properties where EV Charging Points are due to be installed . You will be carrying out a short "Pre-Installation" Survey via our Roamler app with the homeowner, answering some questions and taking supporting photos to assist and prepare for the Chargepoint installation.
This is a fully flexible role, where you have the freedom to pick and choose which properties you want to visit to complete the Pre-Installation Surveys, according to your own schedule.
What are you going to do?
- Installation of a Dongle to the Router to enable Fibre Switchover.
- Attend pre-booked appointments to visit homeowners at their properties, and conduct the Pre-Installation EV Home Surveys.
- Capture information of the installation area and take supporting photographs as required.
- Submit surveys through our Roamler app, and receive payment!
What do you need?
- No technical experience is required, however any knowledge of EV would be beneficial!
- Customer interaction is the key, so it is critical to be polite & professional at all times
- Current DBS (or willing to provide one)
How does it work?
- Use our Roamler app to view and complete EV Home Surveys in your area
- Payments on a job completion basis (between £10 & £25 per survey).
- Surveys will take approx 30 minutes to complete, not including travel to the location.
