Are you an experienced senior journalist, with a passion for all things celebrity and lifestyle? Then it’s time to join OK! and the Magazine & Supplement Hub at Reach Plc as our Senior Celebrity and Lifestyle Writer!

You will generate new and exciting content for all Reach Magazine titles including OK!, New and the weekend magazine supplements for the Mirror, Express and Daily Star. You will use your bursting contacts book to ensure our Magazines stay one step ahead when it comes to celebrity and lifestyle exclusives and features.

We’re looking for fresh ideas and new perspectives from people from a wide range of backgrounds, and we want you to tell us the stories you believe are important from our many communities so we can continue to diversify our content.

This role is home based and we are therefore open to candidates based across the UK.

What will the role involve?

You will generate and write exclusive celebrity and lifestyle content for multiple readerships and audiences. You will get to work on exciting stories from Celebrity announcements, news and interviews, to cutting edge Health topics, agenda setting Real-Life and aspirational food, Travel and lifestyle content across print and digital for OK! and other titles.

Using your already unrivalled contacts book, you will bring with you a wealth of knowledge of the celebrity and lifestyle industry, using those existing connections to secure breaking stories and always adding to your network. You will assist Editors when needed and play a key role in the forward planning of content.

You will contribute to video and social media content while writing in different styles and tones, for different audiences and platforms. You will help to grow the audience of our magazines by breaking celebrity and lifestyle exclusives that appeal to our readers.

This position will have some shift patterns and weekend working so a flexible approach is required.

Whether it is celebrity weddings, homes, pregnancy announcements or break ups, you’re always in the know. You’re clued up on celeb news from around the globe, with a particular interest in the UK and the US and a keen interest in features and lifestyle.

You’re first to arrive, you scoop up the exclusives and your storytelling abilities are hard to beat. A fantastic writer , who works quickly and accurately, you make connections, build strong relationships and gather stories up with ease.

You’re a senior qualified journalist who is creative, you’re passionate and you’re ready to take the next step in your reporting career.
