One of our private families is seeking a live-out family housekeeper/nanny for their home in Notting Hill
This a lovey family of soon to be (4) mum, dad and (2) children. The family is expecting a baby in October. They have a lovely modern (2) bed apartment with a lounge, separate dining room, kitchen and 2 bathrooms (and no pets).
As the family nanny/housekeeper, you will be discreet, hardworking, organised and dedicated.
You will be looking for a long-term role with a young loving and fun family.
The role is 2/3 nanny/children related duties and 1/3 housekeeping duties.
You will be responsible for maintaining & managing the family home as well as carrying all nanny duties, possess an eye for detail making sure all is kept in very good working order/in place.
Most importantly, you will possess a good attitude, calm, and confident, an energetic person, who takes pride in your work.
Housekeeping duties:
- General/deep cleaning to a high standard
- Maintaining living space(s) and kitchen to a high standard
- Dusting, polishing, hoovering, mopping etc
- Washing and ironing
- Packing/unpacking (when traveling)
- Making/changing beds
- Cleaning shower/bath, changing towels etc
- Restocking of personal item(s)
- Running errands (dry cleaning etc)
- Plant care (indoor) & watering (indoor & outdoor)
- Shopping for fresh groceries locally
- Overall, all required housekeeping skills
- Occasional cooking for the whole family
Nanny duties:
- Looking after the children, incl. baby (bathing, nappy change, feeding)
- Cooking healthy meals for the children
- Happy to prepare light lunch/ dinner/snack for the children
- Planning and organising activities for the children
- School pick up and drop off
- Helping with homework
- Flexible to stay at the family home with the kids when mum and dad wish to go out
- Occasional babysitting
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience of working within a similar role
- Proactive approach and happy to work autonomously
- Good communication skills
- High standards and great attention to detail
- Flexible
- Reliable
- Discreet
Working Day(s) and Hour(s): Monday - Friday
+ Friday evening baby sitting (can be compensated with another half day during the week).
Working Hour(s): 8:00(am) - 6:00(pm) (50 hours per week)
Salary: £40K-£45K gross per year
Holiday package: 13 weeks per year
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 3 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
