The Role

An opportunity has arisen for an Electrically biased Multi-Skilled Technician to join our Maintenance Team who are responsible for maintaining site utilities, plant equipment, and building infrastructure.

The key tasks of the position are:

• Perform planned preventative maintenance in accordance with the scheduled programme
• Inspection & testing of electrical distribution boards
• Identify and perform any corrective and reactive maintenance, ensuring plant and equipment operates to its optimum
• Operate the BMS control system to assess and interrogate plant and equipment performance.
• Perform system shutdowns and isolations in accordance with a safe system of work
• Ensure work is conducted in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, internal policies/procedures and client requirements where appropriate
• Work with due regard to health & safety of self & others
• Carry out general maintenance on HVAC, piped services and utility systems
• Working on Steam Generation and Distributions Systems (training will be provided where required)
• Participate in the out of hour’s callout rota.

The Candidate

• Educated to a minimum of HNC (or equivalent), in an engineering discipline
• Electrical installation qualification and practical experience
• Electrical inspection & testing qualification and practical experience
• Mechanically and electrical building services experience
• Experience working with BMS systems
• The ability to demonstrate technical knowledge of building services
