Community Carer – Downham Market

All we need is for you to be committed, kind and caring!

We require care assistants for the following daily shift patterns in and around Downham Market;

• Mornings and Afternoons – 7:00am – 15:30pm
• Afternoons and Evenings – 16:00pm – 22:00pm

Long days can be picked up to shorten the working week ie. morning + afternoon run

Weekend only roles also available.

Rates of pay

Tier 1 clients – £9.80 per hour PLUS £9.50 travel time and 0.20p per mile.

Tier 2 clients – £9.90 per hour PLUS £9.50 travel time and 0.20p per mile.

Every client is different but on a daily basis you will be:

• Assisting clients with bathing, dressing and looking after their health & well-being
• Cooking their favourite meals and assisting clients if they require help eating / drinking
• Keeping clients company. Being there for their up’s and downs and preventing loneliness
• Looking after clients at the end of their life
• Helping clients with rehabilitation after accidents or illness
• Helping clients keep a tidy and clean home
• Picking up medication and ensuring their medication is taken correctly
• Going shopping for or with clients
• Taking clients on days out
