Job Role: Senior Logistics Administrator
Reports to: Operations Manager
Location: Thurrock, RM20
Start Date: ASAP – Monday to Friday – 08:00 – 17:00
Axis Logistics manages the logistics operations of the Prax Group of companies. Our tailor-made logistics solutions allow us to move product by road, rail, ship, and pipeline, providing safe and reliable deliveries to our customers. Led by a highly experienced team, all of whom have a deep understanding of the logistics industry, our aim is to manage and improve every single process, from when we first receive an order, to final delivery to a customer. We have a dedicated and professional team in the office and out on the road, and we are resolutely service-orientated – our focus is always our customers, whoever and wherever they may be.
Key Duties .
- Managing 2 logistics Administrators.
- Accountable for the Daily Reconciliation of fuel deliveries against liftings
- Accountable for the update of Customer Records
- Dealing with Terminal/Customer product lifting queries
- Invoice preparation
- Ensuring operations and paperwork remains compliant with reliant legislation and policies/procedures.
- Accountable for Accurate Scanning and archiving paperwork
- Working with the traffic desk to complete relevant duties
- Data Entry
Key Skills
- Transport experience preferrable not essential
- Experience with Excel, Word and PowerPoint Essential
- Good Personal management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Keen eye for detail
- Excellent with Numbers
- Computer literate
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From £28,000.00 per year
