Key responsibilities for the role:
- Identify, Rectify and Report production issues that may affect process performance, product quality or team member health & safety to facilitate further investigation and root cause analysis.
- Setup the line / area for production ensuring all the following are available / working: safety controls, hygiene standards, machines, parts, tools & labour and conduct product / process changeovers as specified in changeover SOP’s
- Conduct periodic quality inspections / take product samples before, during and after production as detailed in production specification documents and SOP’s.
- Ability to complete required standard work at full line speed
- Demonstrates ownership for the job. Uses own initiative and maintains active attempts to reach personal and team goals. Embraces change, adaptable and maintains effectiveness in varying environments. Demonstrates a can-do attitude.
- Desirable - Food manufacturing experience
- Referral scheme £500 for every referral. £250 after 15 weeks or 20 shifts and another £250 after successful completion of 6 months’ probation
