• Breakdown & Recovery Company
• Basic Salary up to £28,000 with OTE of £38,000 + (Dependent on Licence Category)
• 4 days on duty followed by 2 days off
• Full Training provided – IVR Training

Our Client, one of the leading breakdown cover businesses across the South of England are currently seeking a Vehicle Recovery Driver for their highly successful roadside assistance team across the South.

The Employer has multiple partnerships with some of biggest names within roadside assistance, they have a fleet of over 150 vehicles covering the whole of the United Kingdom. They have been in existence for over 60 years, priding themselves on their inspirational customer service.

You will be working assisting with the recovery of vehicle due to both breakdowns and vehicle collisions. You will be trained to safely secure the vehicle, flip vehicle if required or recover vehicle from challenging environments.

You will need to put the customer first at all times, they may have had a frightening experience and you will be required to put them at ease.

Duties of a Roadside Recovery Driver with our Client

• Daily vehicle checks are to be carried out prior to shift start in all cases
• To safely recover vehicles and passengers following Breakdowns & Vehicle Collisions
• Ensure that the safety and care of the customers are the main priority.
• To recover vehicles within challenging and difficult environments
• Support the customer and reassure their mental & physical wellbeing.
• Ensure no additional damage is caused during the recovery of a vehicle
• Securing Vehicles to the recovery truck in safe manner, ensuring all health and safety requirements are followed.
• Drive to a variety of locations across the South of England.

What our Client expects of their Roadside Recovery Driver

• Strong customer service skills
• Competent
• Full UK Driving Licence – Either Class C1 (7.5 Tonne), Class C, Class C + E & Class DE & D1E
• Previous working experience in a similar role is helpful
• Strong safety awareness
• Able to work as a team & independently
• Happy to undertake additional courses
