UX Designer
Short term contract
£50 p/h Inside IR35

Freelance UX Designer needed to assist teaching teams in product development. The right candidate will be able lead a small group from inception to delivery of product. Our client is looking for someone has the patience to help guide beginners in the design part of the process, and who can cut through design jargon to aid in the development and understanding of participants of the programme.
Skills required:
- Help students define the user experience with mock-ups and prototypes.
- Instruct on design concepts and user interfaces for a range of platforms.
- Ensure that the design vision is documented and specified correctly.
- Understand user experience and user-centred design best practices.
- In-depth knowledge and experience of implementing User Centred Design Methodologies.
- Experience in designing high quality interfaces, wireframes, storyboards and user flows.
- Demonstrable experience of translating high level project briefs into a detailed user journey with practical experience using design and prototyping tools.
- Evidence of designing for multiple platforms.
- Prior experience of working within innovation environments.
- Exposure to delivering constructive but critical feedback, confidently communicating with stakeholders and non-technical colleagues.
