As part of our dedication to excellence, we are offering a unique opportunity for a Holistic Dog Groomer Apprentice. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship program, a job position as a Holistic Dog Groomer will be available.

As a Holistic Dog Groomer Apprentice, you will have the chance to work closely with Emma, learning the art of grooming dogs using holistic methods. This apprenticeship program aims to provide comprehensive training in understanding a dog's unique needs, creating a calming and stress-free environment, and utilizing natural products to promote the dog's overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a strong understanding of different dog breeds, coat types, and specific grooming requirements.
• Learn how to groom dogs using holistic and natural grooming products and techniques, including gentle handling and stress reduction methods.
• Participate in bathing, drying, brushing, and styling dogs under the supervision of senior groomers.
• Assist with nail trims, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, and other essential grooming tasks.
• Gain knowledge of canine anatomy and common health issues to identify any potential concerns during the grooming process.
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including equipment and tools.
• Interact with clients and provide excellent customer service by addressing their questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
• Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in holistic dog grooming.

Qualifications:

• Genuine passion for dogs and a strong interest in holistic pet care.
• Excellent patience and empathy when working with animals, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the grooming process.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced groomers.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality work.
• Physical stamina to handle dogs of different sizes and temperaments.
• Prior experience working with dogs, such as volunteering at shelters or dog-related organizations, is a plus but not required.
