About Our Client
This business have major acquisitions and are hugely expanding. With a large finance function located in Liverpool this Accounts Assistant role will be perfect for an AAT Studier, Graduate or someone with intermediate excel skills (vlook up, pivots) knowledge looking for their first kick-start career in finance. No experience required just a good working attitude and confident to pick the phone up and speak with suppliers and has good excel skills. This is a full time, permanent position.
Job Description
The Accounts Assistant duties include:
- Finance data reporting
- Maintaining and updating data
- Support with reports, fact checking and finance analysis
- Month end reporting including: reconciliations, journals, and management accounts
- Supporting with the preparation of UK statutory accounts
- Assist with ad-hoc accounting requirements and supporting the team with duties as may be required
The Successful Applicant
The succesful candidate MUST:
- Have the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good analytical skills
- Good excel skills for reporting
- Have a passion for Accounts / Finance - ideal for AAT studiers
- Able to use initative
